About the role

We’re looking for a Director of Content to make a real impact on the financial lives of our community.

  • You’ll help set the editorial strategy across Flux’s key content pillars. That includes:
  • What the Flux podcast and daily newsletter
  • Flux Academy (premium feature within the Flux app)
  • In-app content (think: articles, video, audio)
  • You’ll co-write the What the Flux podcast with personality… and a bit of edginess
  • You’ll set the standard for copywriting excellence across the company
  • You’ll bring ideas for new, special projects (eg. new podcasts, video content etc)
  • You’ll be a role model, a mentor and a leader to other team members
  • You’ll be a driving force for bringing creative ideas to life across the business and its products

About you

  • You’re impact-driven, passionate, scrappy and not afraid to experiment!
  • You love writing and creating engaging content.
  • You’re creative and willing to test content that pushes boundaries while staying true to Flux’s mission.
  • You’re always up to date with the latest themes and relevant trends (both across the financial landscape, but also what’s happening on TikTok and in pop-culture)
  • You have a passion for presenting complex financial concepts in simplified ways – across multiple formats (text, video, audio)
  • You’re familiar with creating designs on Canva and have a sharp eye for what looks good.
  • You enjoy creating a feedback loop by evaluating the data to improve your content each time.
  • You’re hungry to learn, grow and become a key part of the Flux team long term.
  • You have an understanding of personal finance topics (budgeting, saving, investing).
