Google's AI, Gemini courts Apple for an alliance that has got Silicon Valley's 'who's who' gasping

Google is reportedly in talks with Apple to build Gemini into the iPhone.

👉 Background: Google launched its AI model, Bard in March last year, to rival OpenAI's ChatGPT. Since then, Bard has evolved into a more advanced AI model called Gemini.

👉 What happened: Google is reportedly in talks with Apple to build Gemini into the iPhone. While Apple has been testing its own AI, it looks like it wants to buddy up with another tech superpower to make its mark in the AI market.

👉 What else: This deal could also be a major win for Google, as it could help expand Gemini across a whopping 2 billion active Apple devices.
