Kellanova is planning to introduce new on-the-go products to meet the 'on-the-go' needs of Australians.
👉 Background: Kellogg's is the brand behind big name cereals like Coco Pops, Rice Bubbles, and Corn Flakes. In fact, Kellogg was ranked #78 on Interbrand's annual ranking of the Top 100 Global Brands, right next to Dior and LinkedIn.
👉 What happened: Back in March this year, Kelloggs HQ decided to split the brand into two companies. WK Kellogg Co will focus on cereals in North America, while Kellanova will take on the snack world... as well as cereals outside North America, including Australia.
👉 What else: This week, Kellanova came into existence in Australia. And as part of the new brand, Kellanova is planning to introduce new on-the-go products to meet the 'on-the-go' needs of Australians.
💡Consumer behaviour is often the key driver of innovation. Kellanova's shift isn't just a business decision; it's a response to changing consumer behaviour.
💡Consumer lifestyles have become more fast-paced and that means no more toast, cereal, and scones in the morning. According to ShopGrok, the snacking category in Australia has seen a 29% increase in products over the past year.
💡 And globally, the on-the-go healthy snacks market nearly hit $100 billion USD last year - and it's expected to grow at over 7% for the next 5 years.
