Pop sensation Robyn Fenty, aka Rihanna, aka Bad Gal RiRi, has been crowned the richest female musician, and the second-richest woman in entertainment, with a net worth of a massive $2.3 billion.
RiRi’s got her well-manicured fingers dipped in a bunch of different pies. Think makeup and skincare brand Fenty Beauty, lingerie brand Savage x Fenty, and of course, her insane music career.
It just so happens that ALL of these businesses are doing incredibly well for her. Fenty Beauty alone has earned her a whopping $1.8 billion so far.
Celebs are brilliant at building a brand around themselves - and making serious bank off of it. Especially when you’ve got a following as huge as Rihanna (*cough* 101 million on Insta).
RiRi’s capitalised on a growing phenomenon: buying the face behind the brand. We’re not pulling the trigger because we love that new cleanser. We love RiRi! And that’s marketing, baby.
