👉 What happened: Now Shopify's at it again. The company just launched a new platform called Shopify Collabs. It's designed to connect content creators with businesses who run their website on Shopify.

👉 What else: Basically, creators on the Shopify Collabs platform can partner with Shopify merchants and the whole thing from discovery to payment.

What's the key learning?

💡Content creators have become brands in their own right… and platforms are looking for more ways to unlock value for both creators and businesses (and themselves). TikTok has launched its Creator Marketplace and now Shopify has Collabs.

💡But the Shopify Collabs tool allows creators to have more skin in the game because they can negotiate a percentage of sales - all via the platform.

💡And with more than 200 million content creators in the global market these days, Shopify could be onto something here.
