Wesfarmers and Disney have finalised an exclusive new subscription bundle that brings together Disney+ and OnePass.
👉 Background: Wesfarmers is the retail conglomerate that owns Bunnings, Kmart, Officeworks, Catch and many more. And over the last few years, Wesfarmers has been channeling its inner-Amazon by building its OnePass customer loyalty program.
👉 What happened: OnePass is kind of like Amazon Prime, but without 1 day delivery or the streaming part.. until now. Because Wesfarmers and Disney have finalised an exclusive new subscription bundle, that brings together Disney+ and OnePass.
👉 What else: This is the first external partnership for OnePass. And even more interestingly, this is the first retail-content partnership globally for Disney.
💡Companies love loyalty programs because they can be an effective way to retain customers and encourage repeat business.
💡By offering things like discounts or perks for loyal customers, it can help to build brand affinity and ultimately customer loyalty.
💡But it also runs so much deeper than that. For the company, like Wesfarmers, these loyalty programs provide valuable data and insights about customer behaviour and preferences.
